No Results Found Endings

No Results Found is a multi-ending mystery. Steam tags it that way. The two story outcomes that the achievement list actually names are hidden badges: Accuse and Connive. In the first days after the 14 August 2026 launch, Accuse sat a few points above Connive on the global unlock chart, which means more players filed against someone than they covered for them. This page is the spoiler file for that split. The route that gets you to the report is the Walkthrough.

There is no third secret ending published in the achievement list. Side unlocks (music, memo, DODGE, a hundred searches, most of the community) are completion flags, not alternate finales.

What the report is

You play a NIRA researcher. The families asked for a reopening. The Church of the Nine-Tentacled Octopus still has a public story about a ritual drowning of 227 people. Your desktop work is supposed to become a document. When the game hands you the report, you are no longer searching. You are choosing how to write the people on the organization chart.

Read slowly. An English launch review said the final report can skip to the next screen before you finish reading, the same way some chats auto-advance. That is why players miss flavor even when they picked the ending they wanted.

Accuse

Accuse is the filing that puts responsibility on a person (or people) you identified. The achievement name is the spoiler: you do not hedge. You use the names you pinned. If your chart is incomplete, you are guessing, and Model NIRA Employee will not pop. Fill the chart first, then accuse.

Players who enjoyed the community layer as comedy sometimes still accuse, because the wiki phase and the blanks reframe the jokes as cover. The tone shift is the point. Korean reviews mention crying after giggling through the board. Accuse is the version of the report that refuses to stay in the joke.

Connive

Connive is the other hidden achievement. The English word means to cooperate secretly, to look away, to play along. In this case file that is the report that does not fully blow up the structure you just mapped. You still needed the names. You still needed the community. You chose a different sentence on the last screen.

If you want both badges, you need two filings. The game is short enough that a second run is a couple of hours if you keep the Search Notebook from the first. Search Addict’s hundred queries can be farmed across those runs.

What happens after the title card

Reviews say the game’s title hits harder once you have lived inside a search bar. The phrase “no results found” stops being a Steam joke and becomes the thing the case does to evidence. Some players wanted to keep browsing the in-game wiki after the ending and could not. Treat the wiki as a mid-game tool, not a post-credits encyclopedia. If you care about leftover pages, read them before you file.

DODGE remains available as a score chase if you unlocked it during the desktop phase. It does not change Accuse or Connive. Music and memo achievements can be cleaned on a quiet desktop after you know the layout.

How to choose without a morality meter

The game does not paint a good ending green. Accuse and Connive are both “complete the case” states. Choose Accuse if your notes say a person caused the 227 deaths to be mis-filed. Choose Connive if your notes say the institution, the Church, or the way the file was written is the thing you are now part of. The NIRA page exists because you are not a private eye in a trench coat. You are a government desk. That job is the ending.

For doctrine that the report has to mention, use the Church file. For whether the split is worth a second weekend, use the Review. For 100 percent after both reports, use the Achievement Tracker and How to Beat DODGE.
