No Results Found How Saving Works on the NIRA Desk

There is no Save button. Autosave is the product. Load from the title screen after Accuse or Connive.

Save and Load

People search how to save because the NIRA desktop does not look like a visual novel with a slot menu. No Results Found autosaves. There is no named Save file picker in the store copy and no codes-style cloud slot this wiki can quote. Japanese clear notes are blunt: if you cannot find a save command, do not leave the process running for ninety-seven hours. Quit through the title flow when you are done for the night. Launch again later. The desk should put you back where the last autosave landed.

This page is the missing how-to for that loop. It is not a second Walkthrough. It is not a hint button. Confirm you are on Patch 1.2 so you have windowed resize, Chinese, Mac, and the older 1.1 / 1.0.2 / 1.0.1 fixes. Then treat the executable like a document editor that writes in the background.

What autosave actually covers

Progress through the public Church site, the members-only board, the organization chart, the in-game wiki, and the mission reports is the kind of state an autosave is for. Memo text is the fragile piece. Steam already has a thread titled Notes don’t get saved? If the notepad clears after a restart, that is a bug lane, not proof that you failed Write First, Think Later. Screenshot the memo. Keep a real-world copy. Mail zzangdolgames@gmail.com with your build number. Keep writing during the session anyway; the achievement still wants the in-game pad. Details sit on Known Issues and Desk Music and Memo.

Do not alt-tab for twenty minutes in the middle of an auto-advancing chat and assume the last line is stored. Screenshot. The same warning lives on Controls. The final report can skip before you finish reading. That is why Endings tells you to read slowly. It is rude. It is not a lost save.

After Accuse or Connive: Load, do not reinstall

Hidden achievements split the story as Accuse and Connive. You do not need two Steam accounts. Japanese players report that after one ending, Title Screen then Load returns you to the branch before the final report. File the other stance. That is the 100 percent path for the two story badges. The 100 Percent Checklist is the cleanup order. DODGE scores are a separate window; they do not need a second ending. How to Beat DODGE is the minigame page. 1.2 raised the Dodge 1.7 multiplier. Thresholds stay 1,000 and 2,000.

If Load is grey or missing, you may still be inside a rolling scene. Wait for the title card. Do not force-quit during the report if you can avoid it; let the autosave catch the filing. If a crash eats a just-finished ending, mail support. Do not delete local files as a first step. Reinstalling rarely fixes a save bug, which is the same advice the known-issues page already gives for the memo.

Fullwidth freeze, windowed mode, and why people think they have no save

Japanese notes say halfwidth input works and fullwidth can freeze the client. Copy-paste from the memo into the search bar. After a later update, the in-game control panel’s windowed mode made fullwidth usable. Patch 1.2 now lets that windowed frame resize, with the caveat that internal resolution does not change. If you think the game “has no save” because the window locked after an IME composition, you are on an input bug, not a missing slot menu. Update. Switch to windowed. Paste. See Languages for IME and macOS Notes if your new 1.2 chassis is a Mac.

Steam Deck is still unverified. A handheld that sleeps the process is a worse autosave story than a desktop that you quit cleanly. Read Steam Deck before you treat suspend as Save.

What this is not

It is not a cloud-save explainer for Family Sharing. Family Sharing is listed; it is an account feature. It is not a shared-session checkpoint. Single-player only. It is not a chapter select. The closed index does not let you jump to “Volax report” from a menu. If you want that paperwork map, use Investigation Reports. If you want verbs for the first hour, use How to Play.

Quit when you are tired. Load when you come back. File the other ending from the branch. Keep a screenshot of the memo. That is the entire save system No Results Found ships, and it is why a ninety-seven-hour always-on session is a misunderstanding, not a speedrun.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for investigators who just hit a dead search.

Where is the Save button?

There is not one. The game autosaves. Quit from the title flow. Launch later. Do not leave the process running overnight.

How do I see the other ending?

After Accuse or Connive, use Title Screen then Load. You return to the branch before the final report. File the other stance.

The window froze while I typed Japanese.

Fullwidth input can freeze older builds. Paste from the memo, use windowed mode, and update to patch 1.2 so the window can resize.
