Patch 1.2 Notes

Zzangdol Games posted Patch Notes 1.2 to Steam news for No Results Found on 21 August 2026, greeting players as NineTentaclism everyone. The note is the first build that changes the platform list and the language table, not just chrome. Official text says the update includes several game-related fixes as well as support for additional languages and platforms. This page mirrors the Steam bullets and explains what they mean for the desk. It does not invent a hint mode that still has not shipped.

Until 1.2 the live store still read as a free Windows mystery with Korean, English, and Japanese. After 1.2 the store lists Windows and macOS, and the language line adds Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. Ten achievements, Accuse and Connive, and the no-highlight search loop stay the same. Reception stayed Overwhelmingly Positive as the public review count crossed a thousand in the days around the patch; Taiwanese coverage such as 4Gamers noted the Chinese client on 24 August. Live volume sits on Steam Reception. This page is the build fact.

Official 1.2 list

In the order Steam shows them:

  1. Applied filters to some images on web pages.
  2. Reduced the difficulty of achieving high scores in Dodge 1.7 (the score multiplier has been increased).
  3. Fixed an issue where chat bubble heights were calculated incorrectly in some languages.
  4. Window resizing is now supported in Windowed Mode. Due to layout limitations, the in-game resolution itself will not change.
  5. Added Simplified and Traditional Chinese.
  6. Added macOS support.

That is the whole 1.2 mechanical list. There is still no highlighter. There is still no Linux build. There is still no Steam Deck Verified stamp. There is still no codes calendar. If you were stuck on a community address or a wiki blank, 1.2 will not type the token for you. Use How to Search, When You Are Stuck, Hidden Community, or the Walkthrough.

What the new languages and Mac build mean

Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese are store locales, not a fourth wiki on this domain. This fan site still ships English, Japanese, and Korean because that is the non-Roblox language rule we follow for the original three clients. Play the Chinese client on Steam if that is the language you read fastest. Copy in-world tokens exactly; a polished English gloss of a Chinese lemma will still miss. Full notes sit on Languages.

macOS is a real platform flag after 1.2. The Steam API snapshot this wiki checked still returned an empty Mac minimum table, so treat the Windows reading-session sheet as the honest floor until Valve prints a Mac line: enough RAM to keep a browser-like desk open, a keyboard, a mouse. Details sit on macOS Notes. Steam Deck is still unverified. System Requirements now has to say Windows and Mac, not Windows only.

What Dodge 1.7, chat bubbles, and windowed resize mean

DODGE Maniac is still over 1,000. DODGE Master is still over 2,000. 1.2 did not lower those achievement numbers. It raised the score multiplier inside Dodge 1.7 so high scores are less brutal. Korean launch reviews called the minigame too hard; Japanese writeups compared the tiny window to a bullet-hell tax. If Master would not pop on 1.1, update and try again before you assume a hidden third threshold. Method sits on How to Beat DODGE. The Achievement Tracker is unchanged.

Chat bubble height bugs in some languages are why a Korean or Japanese (or now Chinese) thread looked clipped. 1.2 names that as a layout fix. Screenshot rolling chats anyway. The final report can still skip. Those are design habits, not a new pause key.

Windowed mode can now be resized. The simulated desktop resolution inside the window does not scale with your drag, because the layout is authored at a fixed size. That is the official caveat. Japanese players who froze the client by typing fullwidth characters into the search field reported that switching to windowed mode from the in-game control panel made IME input usable. Use that if 1.0.1’s input-field logic is not enough. The Controls page and Known Issues carry the desk-side advice. Image filters on some web pictures are a readability pass, not a new puzzle layer. Re-copy tokens from the live build if a filtered photo caption looks different from a launch-week screenshot.

How 1.2 sits next to 1.1

Patch 1.1 remains the terminology, search-tag, QoL, chat/browser/UI, and untranslated-text umbrella, and it still includes Patch 1.0.2. Patch 1.0.1 remains the 16:9 and input-field note. Launch Notes remain the day-one bible for the free price, the no-hint loop, and the ten achievements. This page is the first note that changes who can launch the executable and in which language.

Nothing in 1.2 changes Accuse versus Connive. Nothing adds a hint button. Nothing raises the Windows i3-6100 line. If a later 1.3 appears, it will get its own dated page above this one. Until then, 1.2 is the current desk.

Verify the build on Steam news for app 4911390. Then sit down and search again. The Church still wants you to notice what is not highlighted. The new Chinese and Mac players get the same blank search bar the rest of us already had.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for investigators who just hit a dead search.

Does patch 1.2 add a Mac version and Chinese?

Yes. Official notes add macOS support plus Simplified and Traditional Chinese. This wiki still ships English, Japanese, and Korean.

Did 1.2 make DODGE easier?

It raised the Dodge 1.7 score multiplier. Maniac is still over 1,000 and Master over 2,000. High scores should come faster.

Can I finally resize the window?

Yes, in Windowed Mode. The in-game resolution itself does not change. Layout stays fixed; only the outer window drags.
