No Results Found Walkthrough

This is the spoiler route for No Results Found. It follows the investigation as reviews and Steam discussions describe it after the 14 August 2026 launch: desk, public cult site, hidden community, organization chart, in-game wiki, fill-in-the-blank paperwork, then Accuse or Connive. Method-only readers should stay on How to Play and How to Search.

The game is not a branching open world. It is a closed case with a search index. You can wander, but the locks are the same. If a step below names a wall, that wall is already in public threads.

Phase 1: the NIRA desk

Open every program. Mail, files, photos, memo, org chart, browser, music. Search room objects, including food. The store page’s takoyaki joke is a real prompt. Put every proper noun in the memo. You are a government researcher, not a street detective; the NIRA file explains the brief: 227 drownings, families unsatisfied, Church doctrine back on the table.

Do not rush the chart. Empty slots exist to be filled with names you have actually identified. Model NIRA Employee is “identify everyone in the organization.” Guessing early just wastes searches.

Phase 2: public Church site

Find the Church of the Nine-Tentacled Octopus homepage. Read commandments, event pages, and mask culture. This is vocabulary school. Tokens you skip here become the hidden community address later. Search every odd string. Search both spellings of names. Marco versus Makor is a documented trap: one spelling is a person, the other is a dead page.

Phase 3: members-only board

Type the community address you extracted. Do not invent a URL. Inside, read posts and comments like a moderator doing discovery. Petty complaints are evidence. Ridiculous events are evidence. Usernames are evidence. Closer to the Truth wants you to view most of this layer, so do not skim.

Pin identities on the organization chart as soon as a mask maps to a legal name. Cross-check chat tone against email dates. If a chat auto-advances, screenshot. Launch reviews lost last lines that way.

Phase 4: the in-game wiki

Reviews describe a late wiki phase that feels like a second game. Articles link to articles. Some pages are written to confuse you on purpose; one Korean review asked for cleaner lemmas. Still, follow every blue link that names a person, a ritual, a chemical, or a place. Search the article titles themselves. The wiki is how the case leaves the forum voice and enters institutional language.

A Korean review calls out a document whose title is a raw-material substitution investigation report, with a last-word deduction that felt weakly connected even when guessed right. Treat that as a authored fill-in, not a logic exam. The other public blank is the English sentence Steam users quoted: “However, its true nature turned out to be ______________.” That blank is a keyword you have already seen in the wiki or community layer. Copy it. Do not thesaurus it. Method for this layer, without printing the missing word, lives on the In-Game Wiki page.

Phase 5: the report

When the game asks you to file, you are choosing a stance toward the people on the chart. Hidden achievements split the outcomes as Accuse and Connive. Accuse sits slightly higher on the global percentage list in the first days after launch, which means more players filed against someone. Connive is the other report. Details of what those files do to the story are on Endings. Read the report screen slowly; it can auto-advance.

After the title card, several reviews say the game’s name lands as a joke about the search you just did. If you still have energy, clean up achievements: a hundred searches, the music, the memo, remaining wiki pages, and DODGE.

Side path: DODGE

DODGE is a score-attack minigame, not a story gate. Korean reviews call it a dodging game and say it is too hard. Maniac is over 1,000 points. Master is over 2,000. It is the rarest pair of achievements. You can finish the case without touching it. If you care about 100 percent, leave it for after the report so you are not tilting mid-investigation. Order that actually works

Desk inventory. Public site scrape. Community address. Deep read of the board while filling the chart. Wiki rabbit hole. Blanks. Report. Optional DODGE and leftover searches. If you invert that order you will type story keywords before the index has unlocked them and think the game is empty.

For doctrine while you scrape, keep the Church file nearby. For the desk you sit at, keep NIRA. For the ten Steam badges, keep the Achievement Tracker. For whether the whole thing is worth a second run, read the Review after the title card, not before.
